Returns and Refunds

At Century Electrical, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may return the product within 1 business days from the date of delivery. Please follow the procedure below:

  1. Contact our Customer Relations Department at online@cew.co.za within 1 business days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and reason for the return.
  2. Wait for an email from Century Electrical containing a “Goods Return Number” authorising the return.
  3. Once you receive the email, securely package the product in its original packaging to ensure it is not damaged during transit. If sending via mail or courier, we recommend insuring the parcel for the full retail value of the product(s).
  4. Clearly write the provided Goods Return Number on a separate piece of paper and include it with the returned product.
  5. Send the product back to Century Electrical via mail, courier, or hand delivery. In case you are not able to arrange for delivery we can arrange couriers at your cost.

Upon receipt of the returned product, Century Electrical will inspect it to ensure it is in resalable condition. Depending on the reason for the return, the following actions will be taken:

  • If the product is incorrect: We will send you the correct product upon inspection.
  • If you wish to rely on the cooling-off period: Depending on the warranty of the product, Century Electrical will process a refund within a maximum of 30 days. Please note that the cost of returning the product to Century Electrical is your responsibility.
  • If the product does not meet your expectations: Century Electrical will inspect the product and, depending on the warranty, process a refund within a maximum of 30 days. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the product.

Please note that Century Electrical reserves the right to refuse a refund if the returned product shows signs of use or damage, or if the original packaging is compromised. In such cases, you will be notified to collect the product.
